Who are we kidding? It’s ourselves. The idea that we live in a free country with checks and balances, a limited government, and a democratic government where states hold the majority of the power is lost forever. I’ll tell you why that is and I’ll explain why optimists think otherwise.
Checks and Balances
At the start of our nation, we had three branches of the government that included checks and balances amongst each branch. Not one branch had more power than the other and not one branch was not held accountable to another. The founders designed it to be that way because they witnessed what a government would be like if there had not been checks and balances.
For instance, the executive branch could appoint a judge to the supreme court, but congress could vote down a candidate. The supreme court could mandate law from the bench but congress could write laws that could overrule supreme court rulings or they could withhold funding in the budget.
The point of designing our federal government in this fashion was to make it as least productive as possible. Sounds strange right? Who wants a productive government? I ask – what’s the urgency in making a government more productive so they can pass non-validated regulations upon laws upon other laws? I also ask – if politicians become greedy and corrupt why would you want them to be effective at their job?
There were a few things that the founders wanted the federal government to be effective about. I want to sum it up into just two.
First and foremost, they were the defenders of our rights. Their job was to protect our freedom of (paraphrase) speech, right to bear arms, religion, etc. If their full-time job was one thing it was to defend and serve the rights of the citizens. You could probably lump a few responsibilities of the federal government under this category. Law enforcement comes to mind. My life, my health, and my possessions need to be protected from bad actors. If the government can’t enforce its laws then the laws are just worthless paper
Second, a unified national defense was crucial if we wished to stay sovereign. The union was formed so that we could defend ourselves against foreign invaders. This is the most obvious example of the federal government.
Our government was meant to be simple. The original constitution was written with less than 5000 words. There probably hasn’t been a small bill that has been signed into law in the past century that has been less wordy.
Once again, this kept our government simple. Each branch could keep one another accountable to another.
The complexity of our government has now made it impossible to create accountability. This brings me to the next point.
Limited Government
The executive branch has exceeded its power with its access to so many resources that do not fall under accountability. To name a few… EPA, FBI, IRS, NSA, NIH, Federal Reserve, Department of Education, Department of Agriculture, Department of Labor, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, CDC, Federal Aviation Administration. Department of Energy, Department of Commerce.
If you became an illegitimate target of the powers that be, you literally have no chance to come out alive. As Chuck Schumer stated out loud, “they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you”. Yep, we’ve seen it.
Speak out against a president at a prayer breakfast and you’ll have the IRS auditing every dollar. They don’t like your politics, you’ll have the NSA and FBI find some way to entrap you in a lie. As an avoid communist and soviet union cabinet member stated, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime”. If you dissent in any form or fashion, you better be prepared to lose it all.
I read a story the other day about the EPA did not allow the sale of certain shower heads because it did not meet their water output regulations. Seriously?! When the government is in our bathroom telling us we can’t buy a $20 shower head, we know it’s gone too far.
This did not just happen overnight. Those who want power and control, have found the loopholes and are ready to exploit them to their advantage. You can’t just make guns illegal, but you can put such a financial strangle on the businesses that sell firearms. You can place heavy EPA regulations on the materials used to make ammo. You can audit every gun manufacturer with tons of red tape and litigation. So, no. You don’t need to just usurp the entire constitution to get what you want. You have so many other resources at your disposal to get your way. The criminals don’t work through the regular channels to supply ammo and get their weapons so all the government does is put a strangle on law-abiding citizens, and yet create an even greater black market for weapons and ammo for criminals.
Democratic Government
Yes. I know, we have a democratic republic. There is one day every 2 years where we are a complete democracy – voting day. It is the one day where we can civilly change our government if we don’t like the path it is going down. But that has been taken away from us.
Here’s my theory on election fraud. I believe that the Democrats have very smart, isolated, and protected resources that have uncovered every loophole in state-side and local governments to get votes.
There could be three ways they know that they can get away with fraud. First, they could use every loophole in the book to commit fraud but not do anything that technically is slated in the law as criminal or there isn’t some way a lawyer could use a word salad to justify actions. Two, they could just barely cross that line in the hopes that they have enough judicial power, a few Republicans, and the media in their pocket to apply pushback. Three, they could do absolutely something criminal but also know that it would be impossible to track the fraud with zero paper trail.
It’s possible that all three scenarios above are being used. The most probable is the first one which takes advantage of loopholes with proxy voting, signature verification, and ballot harvesting.
I’ll give an example of what this fraud could look like. This first example is not stating evidence I have heard about yet, but if I am thinking like a Democrat that can think outside the box.
For example, if state law does not specifically have the ability to verify that a person voting on your behalf cannot mail your ballot and cannot fill out the form for you, then theoretically you could have is a bunch of people sitting in an office anywhere in the world making phone calls with ballots in front of them making sure you support their candidate. With a list of registered voters in the house and their ballots, you mark the ballots for them, sign the ballot, and turn it in. If the definition of a proxy and the requirements for voting on their behalf has a loophole or is loosely defined, then you’ve gotten away with fraud without the threat of being a criminal. This scenario makes sense for when thousands of votes get dumped for Joe Biden and zero were for Trump.
Let me give you another example. Let’s just say that using a sharpie on election day would screw up things for most Republican voters. Let’s just say that handing out sharpie markers isn’t exactly criminal either. So, there you have it. Who is going to jail for that? Who is going to be held accountable? No one. It’s all plausible deniability and the Republicans are too nice to investigate this deeply and send a mom or dad to jail for ill intent.
Let’s just say that there are hundreds of opportunities across the country to subvert loopholes and gain tiny advantages here and there that fall under the radar or are too hard to litigate.
Because I am a creative, out-of-the-box thinker and strategist so I try to think – what would I do if I wanted to steal an election? We know that professional sports teams usurp loopholes. If it’s not in the rule book, then it is fair game. It’s the rule book’s fault for allowing this loophole. Don’t expect me to show integrity and raise awareness. I’ll just abuse it until someone figures out my game.
I wish it was just as simple as local and state lawmakers to shore up their elections. There’s only a limited amount of republicans that believe there was fraud, and there are even fewer that have the guts to do something about it. So, no. It’s not that simple. Democrats know there was fraud. Republicans know there was fraud. Yet, only a few state legislators actually proposed changes, while even fewer actually passed laws securing their election.
So What’s Stopping The Government?
Now that we can see we aren’t really free, then what’s stopping the government from completely overtaking everything and just controlling everyone? It’s a legitimate question. I mean if the government is corrupt, why don’t they take all the power they have and just go full-fledged communist on us right now? They have the power already, so why not?
The people aren’t ready. That’s it. That’s the only reason we aren’t there yet. Although, we are slowly getting there. Evil is patient. Right now, we have Science, Commerce, and Government all in bed once again. As history has shown, this will produce nothing but cruelty in the long run.
You can see what this produced in the dark ages, when the government, the church, and its financial system were all under one roof. We can see this even in local governments as well from small tribes in Africa to the Salem witch trials here in the U.S.
Nothing good comes out of this marriage. In my opinion, I see the mark of the beast written all over it. 666 is a god-head and a trinity. Martin Luther King had a series of sermons labeled, “the false god of…” …science, …money, & …nationalism”. He understood that these three constructs of man replace the three parts of God. Government replaces the authority of our Father. Science replaces the truth of his Word. Business replaces the guidance and conscience of his Holy Spirit.
The light is slowly fading here in the U.S.. Erosion will slowly wash away the foundation of our morals and principles until one day the structure will crumble. It will take a couple generations until the transformation is 100% complete. The pathway is already lit for the politicians. It’s just a matter of time before those who grew up in an era that understood the cost of liberty eventually die off.
I don’t know if I will see it in my lifetime, but the erosion is happening faster than I expected due to the pandemic.
